Challenge For Charities Scholarship Fund

Help out your fellow community members who wish to participate in the Challenge For Charities Races but may not be able to afford the registration fees. Scholarship recipients will be asked for a brief statement of need in the application process. Applications will be reviewed by the Challenge For Charities Race Committee and awarded by June 1st.

Lander Community Foundation (Unrestricted/unmatched Donation)

With your donation, we can continue to provide local nonprofits with professional development opportunities as well as grow the Challenge for Charities community fundraising event that culminates in these three races every 4th of July, for the past decade, and beyond. Your support of the General Operating Fund allows us to evolve and grow to meet the community’s needs. It also gives us the ability to provide consistent education and opportunities for our local nonprofits and fiscally sponsored organizations. Simply put, The General Operating Fund helps us drive our mission forward.

We create a stronger Lander community that looks after each other and builds on common ground. We do this by promoting philanthropy through Challenge for Charities (C4C), encourage effective giving, and facilitate volunteerism. We support Lander's nonprofits and fiscally-sponsored organizations so they may provide services and programs for our community.

Lander Community Foundation Challenge for Charities Matching Pool

Your donation to the matching pool fund will be distributed equally to nonprofits participating in the Challenge for Charities event. This fund adds a 30-60% match to the money raised by nonprofits and is a catalyst for driving donations to our local nonprofits. Become a Challenger and help make the magic happen!

Donations to participating non-profits will be available once the Challenge For Charities Giving Period commences on May 1st.
