Racer Safety & Details
Safety is our first priority during the 4th of July C4C races. Due to the number of racers and the excitement of the 4th of July activities, we discourage bringing your dog to the footraces . If you do have to bring your dog, it must be on a leash and under your control at all times.

LCF and the City of Lander cannot be held liable for any problems that dogs may cause.

Due to the safety of participants, no roller skates, inline skates, roller skis, scooters, and skateboards allowed on the course.  Foot traffic, strollers, and wheel chairs are welcome.

We do not have a bag drop at this race.

Awards and Results

There are awards/gifts for the top three overall men and women in the half marathon and top three overall men and women in the 5K. Due to the complexity and timing of wave starts for the 5km, we will not hold a formal awards ceremony. We will coordinate either mailing or hand delivery awards within the week after the events. Thank you for your understanding.

NEW THIS YEAR! We will provide finisher medals for athletes completing the Half Marathon distance.

Non-Profit Bucks are awarded on behalf of the half marathon and 5K winners to local non-profits.  Runners select their favorite participating local non-profit upon registration so if they win, those dollars can be designated to the correct place.  If a runner does not make a selection, the winnings will go to the matching fund that benefits all participating non-profits. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above.

Results will be posted at www.landercommunityfoundation.org as soon as they are made available and can also be found on Its Your Race where you registered.  Please note this will be done as soon as possible, but it is important to remember that your timing crew needs a well deserved nap after a full day of bib check on July 3 and pulling an all nighter setting up the finish line and working the race.  Please be kind and patient with our timing crew.
