Lander Community Foundation Challenge for Charities

In order to achieve the Lander Community Foundation’s mission of promoting philanthropy and creating a stronger Lander community, the foundation sponsors the annual Challenge for Charities, a community-wide fundraiser, that culminates in the Lander Half Marathon, 5K and Kids' 1 Mile.

Early registration is highly encouraged.  Prices increase by $5 on June 28 for the Half Marathon and 5K.  1 Mile prices will remain the same.  Register early to select your preferred t-shirt size.  Those registering after June 18 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

A pancake breakfast after the race in Centennial Park, hosted by Kiwanis Club, is included in your race registration and may be purchased by non-registrants at the park.

The parade begins at 10 AM.

You have the added convenience of purchasing Lander Rotary Buffalo BBQ tickets at registration.  Lander Rotary's Annual Buffalo BBQ runs from 11 AM-2 PM at City Park.  Stick around for the amazing fireworks display in the evening - it will be an unforgettable experience.

If you are coming from out of town, we encourage you to book your lodging early.  4th of July is a big event in Lander and draws in a very large crowd.
